What is htpasswd?

htpasswd is an open-source command-line tool for Apache HTTPD, used to generate password files for HTTP basic authentication.

What are the differences in encryption methods?

MD5: 使用MD5加密密碼。在Windows, Netware 和TPF上，這是默認的加密方式。
