2. 愛(ài)好的;熱衷的;致力(于…)的 If you are devoted to something, you care about it a lot and are very enthusiastic about it.
e.g. I have personally been devoted to this cause for many years... 多年來(lái)我個(gè)人一直一心撲在這項事業(yè)上。 e.g. Horace is so devoted to his garden that he hasn't been away for 10 years... 霍勒斯對他的花園太過(guò)上心,都有10年沒(méi)出過(guò)遠門(mén)了。
3. 專(zhuān)用于…的 Something that is devoted to a particular thing deals only with that thing or contains only that thing.
