[the pot calls the kettle black;one who retreats fifty packs mocks one who retreats a hundred] 戰國時(shí)候，孟子跟梁惠王談話(huà)，打了一個(gè)比方，有兩個(gè)兵在前線(xiàn)敗下來(lái)，一個(gè)退了五十步，另一個(gè)退了一百步，退了五十步的就譏笑退了一百步的，說(shuō)他不中用。其實(shí)兩人都是在退卻，只是跑得遠近不同罷了。比喻自己跟別人有同樣的缺點(diǎn)或錯誤，只是程度上輕一些，可是卻譏笑別人
